Lindsay was one of the few pioneer winners of the First Himan Brown Awards in 2005.
Brooklyn College offers the MFA program to playwrights, poets and fiction writers. It is a two year, highly personal program that gathers Fine Arts students. It generally offers one on one tutorials, seminars and workshops. And they value faculty and student relations.
The famous writer was also a teacher. She was living in Quito, Ecuador where she works as an English composition teacher at a University. She is fond of travelling and want to gain teaching experience. She lived in Ecuador for four years.
Four years after, she left Ecuador and settled in California. Her stories have received citations in the Best American Short Stories, and have been nominated in the South Award. They were also printed in most journals and magazines like the PANK, The Collagist, Dzanc Books Best, Gargoyle and Epiphany.

The story takes place in a typical New York City luxury hotel, which offers privacy to their clients, but some dark secrets hidden in the closet. It narrates the story of Clymentera, a lovely employee with a split personality, and three guests of the hotel who are haunted with their painful past.
The novels and short stories she makes are suspense thriller fictions. She finds it challenging and dark to write stories with the edgy, mysterious theme. She also writes stories that she found inspiration from her travels around the world. Writing will always be in her veins. She sees herself after two decades from now, still writing wonderful stories. She has plans to travel the world and discovering new things again. But, she just cannot put down the new novel she is creating right now.
